Your technical expertise will directly influence the success of both prospects and customers, helping them increase productivity, reduce costs, and unlock operational efficiency.
The Opportunity
As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, partnering closely with Account Executives to deliver compelling demonstrations, guide technical evaluations, and ensure solutions are aligned with customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations via online meetings, on-site visits, webinars, and industry events.
- Map software capabilities to business outcomes and operational workflows.
- Manage technical aspects of the sales process, including RFPs, RFIs, and scopes of work.
- Lead and support customer trials and proof-of-concepts, including configuration, consulting, and training.
- Conduct end-user training and create functional/technical documentation.
- Collaborate with sales and internal teams as the voice of technical expertise.
- Partner with customers to ensure successful implementation and measurable value delivery.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer, Chemical, Mechanical, etc.) or related field.
- Proven experience in industrial software, ideally with ERP integrations (SAP PM, IBM Maximo, JD Edwards, Oracle Primavera).
- Strong understanding of maintenance work, plant operations, and safety processes.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and highly motivated to own the technical aspects of the sales process.
