Senior Account Executive – ICT solutions (Melbourne)

Working across a broad range of leading global vendor technologies, they deliver enterprise‐grade solutions spanning networking, cybersecurity, unified communications, collaboration, IoT, datacentre, cloud, managed services, and professional services to thousands of commercial, enterprise, and government customers across Australia.
The opportunity
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive based in Melbourne. Reporting to the National Sales Director, you will inherit and grow an established portfolio of enterprise and government accounts, while identifying and winning large, complex ICT services opportunities valued at $500K.
This is a high‐impact role for a proven enterprise seller who thrives in strategic, solution‐led environments and enjoys navigating long, consultative sales cycles.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow an existing portfolio of enterprise and public sector accounts across Victoria and the broader southern region.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities across complex ICT and managed services environments.
* Sell across the full portfolio including networking, security, unified communications, collaboration, IoT, datacentre, cloud, managed services, and professional services.
* Build trusted relationships with CIOs, CFOs, Procurement leaders, and C‐suite stakeholders.
* Develop strategic account plans and execute growth strategies across key customers.
* Collaborate internally with Presales, Consulting, Engineering, Service Delivery, and Practice Leaders.
* Work closely with tier‐one global vendor partners to create joint opportunities and market growth.
The Ideal Candidate Profile
* Strong track record selling infrastructure, security, cloud, IT outsourcing, managed services or transformation solutions in the Melbourne market.
* Experience coming from a tier 1 system integrator, VAR, MSP, Telco or IT solutions provider (not distributor).
* Proven experience closing complex deals in the $250K to multi‐million‐dollar range.
* Consistent history of exceeding sales targets and quota expectations.
* Robust executive presence with credibility engaging senior commercial and technical stakeholders.
* Excellent commercial negotiation, forecasting, and pipeline management skills.
* Polished communication and presentation skills.
* Tertiary qualifications advantageous.
