About the role
The Operational Services Officer – Veterinary Nurse provides essential support to lecturers and technicians, ensuring the smooth delivery of teaching and technical services through efficient coordination, resource management, and administrative assistance.
Working under general direction, the Operational Services Officer – Veterinary Nurse performs a variety of tasks that require the practical application of established skills and knowledge. The role involves professional interactions with others, along with a friendly, cooperative and team-oriented approach to shared responsibilities. This position represents the second tier within the Operational Services Team, with employees having progressed beyond the foundational duties and training of the entry-level role.
Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).

- Some intrastate/interstate travel may be required
- May be required to work outside at times during inclement weather conditions
- Eligibility to work in Australia
