Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Family Lawyer at our Gold Coast, QLD office. The Family Lawyer will handle a variety of tasks, including representing clients in family law matters, preparing legal documents, providing expert legal advice, and negotiating on behalf of clients. Responsibilities also include conducting legal research to support case strategies, managing client communications, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
Qualifications
* Experience in family law, including case preparation, litigation, and mediation
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents
* Proficiency in legal research and knowledge of relevant family law legislation and practices
* Ability to manage client relationships with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality
* Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
* Capability to work effectively in a collaborative and supportive team environment
* Admission as a legal practitioner in Australia and a current practicing certificate
* Prior experience in other areas of law (e.g., property or wills & estates) is advantageous
* Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle caseload efficiently
