Key Storeperson Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Storeperson to support our operations in Port Hedland, Western Australia.
About the Position:
As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for maintaining and housekeeping of all storage facilities, physical unloading and distribution of parts, purchasing and expediting, and organizing locally sourced requisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance and housekeeping of all storage facilities ensuring safe and efficient working environment.
* Physical unloading and receipting and distribution of parts ordered/requisitioned with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Purchasing and expediting goods and services to meet operational requirements.
* Organising/collecting locally sourced requisitions and managing inventory levels.
* Work with Pronto ERP, Canvas, and Cognos reporting programs for reporting, stock control, and purchases.
* Conduct rolling stocktakes and full stocktakes at year-end; update the system for variances.
* Participate in maintaining all logistics functions including supply chain management.
* Assist the Supply Chain Coordinator in identification and maintenance of inventory levels.
* Champion continuous improvement projects with strong business cases.
Requirements:
* Procurement and warehouse experience in marine or mining industries (desirable).
* Strong Microsoft Office experience, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
* Experience with Inventory Management Systems (desirable).
* Forklift Licence (desirable).
* LR Licence (or ability to obtain).
