Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and execute a diverse menu of Korean dishes
* Create innovative and visually appealing presentations of food items
* Ensure consistent food quality and taste by adhering to established recipes and standards
* Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
* Collaborate with the management team to develop and refine menu offerings
* Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring a high level of culinary excellence
* Manage inventory, control costs, and maintain food quality standards
* Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
* Stay updated with industry trends and introduce new culinary techniques and flavours
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Chef, preferably with experience in Korean cuisine or a Korean restaurant setting
* Strong knowledge of Korean culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavours
* Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications preferred
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
* Creative flair and a passion for experimenting with flavours and presentations
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt and work well under changing circumstances
* Flexibility with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
