Loss Adjusting Trainee

* As a Loss Adjusting Trainee, you will play a vital role in supporting our loss adjusting activities and working closely with experienced professionals to develop your skills and knowledge.
* Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting loss adjusting activities with assigned supervisors
* Receiving new instructions, triaging and allocating claims in accordance with our guidelines
* Attending site meetings and documenting claim assessments, including capturing evidence
* Managing contractors in line with client service level agreements
* Drafting documentation to manage key stakeholders throughout the claim
* Liaising with internal and external parties to ensure data integrity within business systems
* Researching, analysing and interpreting complex information from a range of sources
* Compiling and maintaining data spreadsheets, reconciling invoices to monitor claim costs
* Providing excellent customer service to key stakeholders via site visits, emails, phone and remote meetings
* Completing desktop and on-site investigations, requiring regular travel
* Assisting with marketing and account management for key clients
* Undertaking projects and other ad-hoc work as required
* Participating in required training sessions, seminars and activities as directed by your supervisor
* Working towards achieving an AICLA qualification (reimbursed as per policy)
* Completing satisfactory learning objectives as outlined at the commencement of the traineeship
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A tertiary qualification in Law, Accounting/Commerce or Engineering (or similar field) would be advantageous
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Organisational and time management skills
