About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across key sectors, including food, beverage, healthcare, and personal care.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing key accounts, and delivering sustainable sales growth in line with our strategic business objectives.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Drive Profitable Sales Growth: Acquire new businesses and expand existing accounts to achieve consistent growth.
* Cultivate Long-Term Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key clients to increase their share of wallet.
* Develop Product Strategies: Understand our services and packaging solutions to tailor product strategies that meet client needs.
* Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity to position our business effectively.
* Provide Regular Reporting: Deliver regular reporting, forecasting, and updates to support strategic planning.
* Deliver Professional Proposals: Present professional proposals and presentations to clients.
Experience and Background:
* Sales and Business Development Experience: Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in the plastic packaging industry.
* Knowledge of Thermoforming and Blow Moulding: Essential knowledge of thermoforming and/or blow moulding processes.
* Packaging Design and Manufacturing Experience: Experience with packaging design and manufacturing for industries such as food, beverage, healthcare, personal care, or pharmaceuticals is highly desirable.
* Success in FMCG or Manufacturing Sectors: Previous success in a similar sales role within the FMCG or manufacturing sectors.
