Overview
The Executive Office Management at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Executive Assistant (Reliever) to join their team on a permanent basis. For information on how to apply and the mandatory requirements for this role, please refer to the attached Role Description.
Your opportunity
As an Executive Assistant - Reliever within the Office of Chief Executive (Executive Office) team your role will comprise:
* Provision of a high level of confidential executive and administrative support and coordination and liaison services covering but not limited to unplanned absences and periods of leave to support designated members of the Executive Leadership Team to deliver on their accountabilities, whilst achieving a high level of performance in the demanding executive environment.
* Working as part of a broader executive support team, contributing to the management and co-ordination the daily functions of the Executive Office to ensure the smooth and efficient service delivery within the Office of the Chief Executive and the Executive Leadership Team within MHHS.
* Undertaking duties within the Strategy and Governance team during periods when Executive Assistant relief support is not required.
* Whilst reporting directly to the Executive Officer within the Executive Office, this position has a key day to day working relationship with an assigned Executive Leadership Team member/s (comprising Executive Director/s and/or Senior Director/s) and direct/indirect relationships with:
* All members of the Executive Leadership Team
* Senior Leaders and support staff throughout the MHHS
* Senior Executive and support staff across Queensland Health
* Office of the Minister for Health, Director-General's Office and other State Government and non-government organisations.
* Other health system partners and providers.
