Senior Commercial Litigation Lawyer - Sydney

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Commercial Litigation Lawyer to join a well established firm with office locations in Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. This role will be joining their growing team in Sydney. You will play a key role in managing and leading complex commercial disputes, providing strategic advice to clients, and representing them in court and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and lead a diverse portfolio of commercial litigation matters, from pre-litigation to trial and beyond.
* Provide strategic legal advice to clients on a range of commercial disputes, including contracts, breaches of warranty, shareholder disputes, and insolvency.
* Draft and review pleadings, legal documents, and correspondence.
* Conduct legal research and prepare detailed case summaries and memoranda.
* Represent clients in court, mediations, and arbitrations.
* Supervise and mentor junior lawyers.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Key Skills and Requirements:
* Admitted to practice in Australia with a minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial litigation.
* Strong understanding of Australian commercial law and relevant case law.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal issues clearly and concisely.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
