About this role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team and be part of a large technology project aimed at modernising Alcoa's large PLC Control System and communications network infrastructure.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the operational readiness of the SPA and will be responsible for managing automation inventory, decommissioned PLC hardware, and developing training packages for new and legacy PLC systems.
They will also assist in installation and wet commissioning of all PLC systems in scope, as well as develop and agree on sustaining requirements once the project is completed.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with extensive experience in Electrical Engineering, particularly with Allen Bradley's PLC, and modern day Fibre-Ethernet networks such as Ethernet/IP.

Key responsibilities
* Manage automation inventory including decommissioned PLC hardware
* Develop training packages for new and legacy PLC systems

Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
* Extensive experience in Electrical Engineering, particularly with Allen Bradley's PLC
* Familiarity with modern day Fibre-Ethernet networks such as Ethernet/IP
