About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance & Information Systems to join our senior leadership team at Western Australian Specialty Alloys (WASA), part of Precision Castparts Corporation (PCC), Special Metals Division. This full-time role is ideal for someone who is analytical, team-oriented, and passionate about driving business growth and profitability.
This position is responsible for managing all financial records and IT systems of the company, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency. It requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills—someone who can motivate and inspire a diverse team while embracing innovation and new technologies to drive sustainable growth. The successful candidate will be expected to work in alignment with our core values: Courage, Ownership, Collaboration, Integrity, and Innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an accurate and effective financial control environment.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with US and Australian GAAP.
- Deliver all required reports and submissions to PCC Corporate and SMC Division.
- Provide operational support through commercial and financial input to the General Manager and other managers.
- Assist the General Manager with strategic decisions by providing financial and commercial insights.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements.
- Liaise with government bodies, auditors, bankers, lawyers, and other external finance-related parties.
- Manage cash flows effectively.
- Oversee all IT requirements and operations.
- Ensure compliance with all PCC policies and procedures.
- Manage payroll functions.
- Lead and develop Finance and IT staff

- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.
Qualifications & Experience
- Professional accounting designation with a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience.
- Formal qualifications in accounting and finance.
- Proven experience in managing IT operations alongside financial responsibilities.
