Area Sales Representative
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, external sales, or account management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet or exceed sales targets through new agent acquisition and increasing same-store sales.
* Manage the entire sales process for Independents, including selling the complete product portfolio and driving the activation process.
* Prospect, negotiate, and sign contracts with new agents, collect required documents, submit complete packages, drive activation, and provide training.
* Ramp up new locations to ensure they achieve full revenue potential.
* Manage existing accounts within the territory to increase same-store sales.
* Visit high-performing locations to identify and address issues.
* Meet productivity targets and overall revenue of all locations within the territory.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in business development, external sales, or account management in Regional Australia.
* Effective management and conversion of a sales pipeline.
* Strong negotiation and decision-making skills to win new business.
* Presentation and listening skills to build trust with agents.
* Phone-based business development and face-to-face sales skills.
* Fluency in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
* Ability to travel and work individually or collaboratively.
