They are currently looking to hire a Senior Financial Accountant, key duties will include:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Review of monthly and YTD property trial balances prepared by the property finance team
* Preparing bank/balance sheet reconciliations and journals
* Preparation of monthly or quarterly investor statements and updates
* Preparation of annual financial reports
* Managing external audit process
* Drafting of audit committee and board papers
* Preparation of monthly reforecast with assistance from property finance and asset management teams
* Preparation of annual budgets with assistance from the property finance and asset management teams
* Maintaining short term cash flow projections
* Preparation of monthly BAS returns
* Assisting the tax team with preparation and lodgement of income tax returns
* Property acquisitions and divestments and establishment of new funds
You will be CA/CPA qualified with 4+ years of financial accounting experience ideally with exposure to property fund accounting, or be making your first move from a chartered firm with funds management clients. Strong technical accounting skills particularly around financial statements and audit are key. In addition you will have excellent stakeholder management skills, strong time management abilities, and enjoy working in a fast-paced high growth environment.
