Responsibilities
* Lead a large, diverse business entity within the Transport unit, including supervisors and staff such as Bus Drivers, Passenger Facilitations Agents and Baggage Trolley Collectors for Carbridge and Easy Cart, to deliver exceptional client management at Brisbane Airport terminals.
* Inspire high performing teams, manage customer relationships, and collaborate with the leadership team to maximise performance and culture across safety, efficiency, reliability, and service delivery to build business success and profitability.
* Identify, develop and implement innovative service delivery models and process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency and customer experience across transport and Easy Cart operations.
* Lead structured continuous improvement using data, performance metrics, and frontline input to optimise workforce deployment, fleet utilisation and cost control.
* Champion and embed change management strategies that support operational transformation, digital adoption, and cultural alignment within a safety-critical aviation environment.
* Identify new service opportunities, value-add solutions, and operational enhancements for client partnerships and contract performance.
* Ensure effective communication of operational and business-related information with the team. Translate personal targets into relevant targets for direct reports and ensure performance expectations are understood. Achieve defined key performance criteria and safe operations with appropriate processes in place.
Qualifications
* High corporate aptitude with multidisciplinary skills focused on stakeholder engagement and management, with key relationship management within multi-client airport operations and strong leadership.
* Leadership experience in a fast-paced, safety and compliance focused service operation, managing the needs of multiple clients with divergent requirements.
* In-depth knowledge of industry trends and developments and how they can be strategically employed to drive business success.
* High level written and oral communication skills with verbal reasoning and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and motivate a team and individuals.
* Strong personal qualities in adaptability, flexibility, and commitment, with a streamlined process ensuring outcomes are met.
* Strong administrative, time management and organizational skills, capable of working with minimal direction, under pressure and within strict timeframes, displaying initiative and motivation.
* Knowledge of enterprise bargaining agreements and application in the workplace. Practical knowledge of industrial relations processes including disciplinary procedures. Experience in developing and implementing business improvements and change management strategies.
