Medical Receptionist Job Description
This role requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our medical centre as a Medical Receptionist.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for opening and closing the clinic according to set procedures, managing medical records confidentially and efficiently, processing patient payments accurately via various methods, invoicing Medicare, Private Health Funds, and other relevant parties, dealing with referring doctors, hospital staff, and other stakeholders professionally, and supporting day-to-day operations of the medical centre.
The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and a high level of computer literacy and IT knowledge. Experience using Medical Director and Pracsoft is desirable but not essential.
A valid Police Check, Working with Children clearance, and First Aid/CPR certificate are mandatory requirements.
Remuneration will be negotiable based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
