Employment Type: Fixed term for 3 years, part‑time (19 hours per week) – with the option to extend to a full‑time clinical load.

About the Hospitals: A tertiary referral and teaching hospital for the Top End of the Northern Territory providing acute and specialist services across urban, regional, and remote communities. Affiliated with Flinders University, Charles Darwin University, Menzies School of Health Research, and the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre. Regional Hospital (PRH) 116‑bed sub‑acute facility operates as an integrated extension, enhancing delivery across the region.
About You
You are a senior clinician with a strong track record of leadership in a tertiary healthcare environment.
You have the strategic foresight, interpersonal acumen, and clinical credibility to drive high‑level organisational performance and culture change.
Responsibilities
* Lead complex clinical services and implement strategic and business plans aligned with organisational goals.
* Drive high‑level organisational performance and culture change.
* Ensure clinical governance, continuous quality improvement, and effective resource management.
* Communicate, negotiate, and build relationships across multidisciplinary teams and diverse cultural settings.
* Manage human and financial resources to foster a collaborative and high‑performing culture.
Essential Criteria
* Eligible for Specialist Registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the relevant Medical College.
* Demonstrated extensive senior‑level clinical and management experience in an acute tertiary setting.
* Proven ability to lead complex clinical services and implement strategic and business plans in alignment with organisational goals.
* Advanced knowledge of clinical governance, continuous quality improvement, and resource management.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills across multidisciplinary teams and diverse cultural settings.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage human and financial resources and foster a collaborative and high‑performing culture.
