We are working with a leading Australian law firm based in Perth for an Associate/Senior Associate to join their Energy projects team.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join an innovative Energy Projects team, advising on major mining, oil & gas and energy transactions, including acquisitions, divestments and project development (including renewables).
The lawyer will support on joint ventures, commercial agreements, regulatory matters and energy/offtake arrangements, contributing to high-profile domestic and cross-border projects while helping develop new client opportunities. Clients include global mining, oil & gas and energy companies, developers, sponsors and investors.
Essential Criteria:
1+ years' PQE;
Projects background;
Experience in mining, oil & gas, or renewables;
Experience liaising with clients;
Strong team player;
Commercial awareness;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Technically excellent.
