 
        
        The Rural Clinical School of Western Australia (RCSWA) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced medical educator to deliver world-class innovative medical education and training at the Bunbury site.

About the Role 
Part time, up to (0.3 FTE) appointments on a fixed term basis for one year. Base salary range: Level C, $144,143 – $165,809 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation. Clinical loading and remote allowances applicable. 
Responsibilities 
- Organise and teach RCSWA students, support preceptors and host practitioners, and implement learning opportunities through collaboration with local agencies. 
- Engage in research or evaluation to improve rural health, and pursue growth in academic areas such as clinical skills or services based on personal interests. 
- Develop local educational programs and rural training pathways in consultation with medical practitioners, contributing to both local and statewide RCSWA strategies. 
- Contribute to curriculum development, assessment marking and provide student mentoring. 
Requirements 
- Registered, or able to be registered with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner. 
- Work in the respective RCSWA site and the ability to network with rural practitioners in the region. 
- Demonstrated experience as a preceptor and/or supervisor of medical students and/or junior doctors or registrars. 
- Demonstrated commitment to the principles and practice of Indigenous health in rural and regional areas. 
- Practice medicine in rural WA.
