CSSD Supervisor Role
* Coordinate daily operations in the Central Sterilising Service Department, including scheduling workloads and addressing operational challenges.
* Implement best practices for sterilisation and infection control, maintaining high standards across all processes.
* Monitor and manage the electronic tracking system to ensure efficient instrument processing and maintenance of inventory records.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to facilitate timely repairs and support delivery.
* Provide guidance and training to CSSD staff through comprehensive induction, coaching, and mentoring programs.
* Participate in audits and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives by analysing performance data and implementing corrective actions.
Key requirements include a Certificate IV in Health - Sterilising Practice for Technicians or equivalent, at least 4 years of experience in a CSSD environment, and strong knowledge of AS5369 standards and sterilisation practices. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, as well as high-level planning, organisational, and analytical competencies.
