This is for a Permanent Full-Time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight.

Position

An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Manager to join the Dialysis team at Karratha Health Campus in the Pilbara.

Responsibilities

* Well-developed clinical, managerial and leadership skills.
* The ability to co-ordinate and manage human and material resources and the achievement of agreed strategic outcomes.
* High-level communication and interpersonal negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
* Demonstrated understanding of the Medicines and Poisons Act 2014, Medicines and Poisons Regulations 2016, and Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2010.
* Experience in the application of clinical governance principles including continuous quality improvement principles, managing change, clinical risk management and accreditation processes.
* Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to utilise information systems.

Position Profile

Through effective nursing clinical leadership is responsible for standards of nursing practice and monitoring client/patient care in the area of responsibility. Promotes and maintains collaborative relationships with clients, carers, peers, visitors, medical staff and other members of the health care team.
