We seek an experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our Central West and Outback Mental Health team in Longreach, Queensland.
About the Role
This dynamic role involves intake and triage processes, holistic clinical assessments, and developing recovery-focused treatment plans tailored to individual needs. You will provide culturally appropriate clinical interventions to individuals, families, and occasionally groups.
The ideal candidate possesses strong clinical skills in delivering psychological therapies and is confident working across diverse populations and age groups.
* Qualifications: Psychology, Social Work (accredited with AASW), Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Nursing (eligible for credentialing)
* Registration: AHPRA or membership with the AASW
* Experience: Minimum 5 years post-graduate clinical experience
* Skills: Empowering others and delivering mental health education; knowledgeable on rural and remote population issues
* Cultural awareness: Respectful understanding of cultural diversity and traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander views on health and wellness
