Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will spearhead the delivery of first-class innovative pharmacy services to the centre, which includes oncology pharmacy services, and chemotherapy compounding. Site Information Icon Cancer Centre Mackay has proudly delivered world-class, exceptional cancer care close to home for the local North Queensland community since opening in 2018. The centre is led by a team of highly experienced cancer specialists who provide a wide range of cutting-edge treatment options including radiation therapy, chemotherapy and treatment for blood disorders. About the Role As a Pharmacy Team Leader, you will be overseeing a team of 1 pharmacist and 2 pharmacy technicians. Your responsibilities include: Managing daily operational and dispensing activities in the pharmacy Ensure the ongoing development and maintenance of the pharmacies’ services and resources Planning daily, weekly, and long-term goals, while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Coordinating rosters and workload allocation Leading, training, and supporting your team Be accountable for financial and human resources management of the pharmacy department Shift Information Working hours are exclusively Monday to Friday, between the Pharmacy operating hours of 08:00AM to 05:00PM. Giving you the weekends to enjoy Mackay’s beautiful beaches and explore the Great Barrier Reef! About You We are seeking experienced pharmacists with proven leadership skills to guide our team. While Oncology pharmacy experience is highly regarded, it is not mandatory. Essential Requirements Current AHPRA registered pharmacist. A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a registered pharmacist in an Australian hospital pharmacy. Demonstrated experience in management or team leadership roles. Permanent Australian working rights.
