Role description
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred physiotherapy services across various care settings within Dhelkaya Health. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, implementing evidence-based interventions, providing education, and prescribing appropriate equipment to support client independence and wellbeing.
This role involves rotation through a range of clinical areas at Dhelkaya Health, including:
* Inpatient care
* @Home community-based services
* Residential Aged Care
* Ambulatory Care outpatient rehabilitation
The role also encourages the development of clinical knowledge and skills through structured supervision, ongoing professional development, and active engagement in mentoring opportunities.
About you
* Recognised tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
* Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Current Victorian Driver's licence
* Sound understanding of person-centred Physiotherapy assessment and treatment care pathways.
* High quality communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Demonstrated ability to work individually and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Ability to understand individual learning needs and recognise clinical skill capabilities and limitations engaging in regular supervision from senior therapists to support learning and development.
* Developed organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Commitment to delivery of person-centred care pathways within evidence informed framework.
* Commitment to evidence-based practice.
