Chisholm is seeking an experienced Lead Youth Programs Officer for our Frankston Tech School. Frankston Tech School is part of the Victorian Government's Tech Schools commitment to develop the skills needed in young people for their future in the workforce. The school's mission is to foster innovation, creativity, and technological literacy among young minds through dynamic and immersive learning experiences.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the day‐to‐day operations of Frankston Tech School, ensuring the operation and technical needs of programs and/or event delivery are supported in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
* Support the Director by providing expertise on key administrative functions; front‐of‐house management, document production, and monitoring internal compliance and procedures. Organise and facilitate scheduled meetings according to organisational policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with the Head of Programs and Director to coordinate the development of the annual calendar and processes that provide booking access to all partner schools and stakeholders.
* Coordinate bookings, administer the bookings process, and provide logistical support for partner schools.
* Co‐ordinate partner schools and other bookings with respect to pre‐program/event preparation, bus bookings, the actual visit/event, and associated requirements, as well as keep records for reporting purposes.
* Update and maintain digital resources, including the website, a CRM and the LMS.
* Provide ongoing leadership and coordination to ensure high‐level preparation and facilitation of programs and events. Ensure Tech School facilities and storage spaces are efficient, safe and meet OHS & WHS requirements and documentation.
* Engage with and manage internal relationships within Chisholm as well as with industry and community partners.
* Support the Director to create and deliver the tech school communications strategy, and maintain strategic relationships, alliances and partnerships with key stakeholders to promote the vision and goals of Frankston Tech School.
About You
Highly motivated with demonstrated working knowledge and application of the Victorian Child Safe Standards and National Child Safe Principles.
