UOW seeks an accomplished and dynamic Associate Professor or Senior Lecturer in Mining. You are expected to provide strong leadership in UOW’s 5-Year Plan to revitalise Mining Engineering by enhancing teaching quality, student engagement, and research excellence. You should process expertise in mine design and planning, and maintain a robust industry network, with a focus on critical minerals, including metalliferous mining. As a high performing academic, you will teach core mining engineering subjects including surface and underground mining, ventilation, mineral processing, and mine design. You are expected to lead high-impact, industry-relevant research and play a key leadership role in transforming UOW’s Mining Engineering program under its 5-Year Plan.
