Comfortable rooms and quality meals Full facilities including gym, pool, wet/dry mess Social and supportive camp life with BBQs, crew catch-ups, and downtime activities Telstra coverage and Wi-Fi The Role & Duties As an Auto Electrician, you will be hands-on with a variety of heavy and light mining equipment, keeping operations running safely and efficiently. Your daily work will include surface and underground duties: Attending breakdowns and preventative maintenance Performing diagnostics, electrical fault-finding, repairs, and component change-outs Working on loaders, drills, charge rigs, light vehicles, and support machinery Learning from experienced tradespeople and being signed off to work across both surface and underground operations Exposure to well-known equipment brands including Sandvik, CAT, Volvo, and more Roster & Travel This role offers a work-life balanced FIFO roster giving you both stability and downtime: FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville, or Cairns, with all flights arranged and included and airport-to-site transfers Choose between 2:2 or 8:6 roster options, across days and nights both day and night shifts Full camp accommodation and meals provided, including comfortable rooms and high-quality dining, allowing you to focus on your work and recharge during downtime. Your Skills & Experience Experienced Auto Electrician who is ready to hit the ground running and upskill within their trade into mining but must have: Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician (Cert III or equivalent) Experience on heavy equipment such as mobile plant, mining, agricultural etc Certificate II in Air Conditioning is highly advantageous but not essential Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and repair skills across a range of machinery Proven ability to maintain high safety standards and work collaboratively in a team environment Must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical and police clearance What's Next?
