About the Role AUSPAL HOLDINGS PTY LTD is seeking a skilled and motivated Developer Programmer to join our technology team, with a focus on supporting and enhancing our Pronto Xi ERP environment. The role involves analysing business and system requirements, developing and maintaining ERP customisations, integrations, and reports, and ensuring secure, reliable, and efficient software solutions that support core business operations. Key Responsibilities
* Research, consult, analyse, and evaluate system and application requirements related to the Pronto Xi ERP platform.
* Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain program code, customisations, and integrations in accordance with technical specifications and quality standards.
* Diagnose and correct software defects, performance issues, and functional errors within ERP modules and related applications.
* Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts using Pronto Xi reporting and business intelligence tools.
* Support system integrations between Pronto Xi and internal or third-party applications using approved interfaces and data exchange methods.
* Manage testing processes and support controlled deployment of system enhancements and updates.
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and end-user support materials.
* Monitor system performance, data integrity, and operational metrics, recommending continuous improvements.
* Provide technical advice to stakeholders regarding system capabilities, upgrades, and configuration options.
* Support system security practices, access controls, and data protection in line with organisational policies.
Skills and Experience
* At least three (3) years’ experience as a Developer Programmer or in a similar application development role.
* Strong experience in application development, system integration, and software lifecycle management.
* Experience working with ERP systems, with Pronto Xi ERP experience highly regarded.
* Proficiency in analysing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
* Experience with testing frameworks, troubleshooting, and controlled deployment processes.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred – AI & Advanced Analytics (Desirable) The following capabilities are desirable but not mandatory and relate specifically to AI and analytics features supported within or alongside Pronto Xi ERP:
* Exposure to AI-enabled business intelligence and analytics within Pronto Xi, including the use of tools such as IBM Cognos Analytics for insight discovery, trend identification, and data visualisation.
* Familiarity with predictive and analytics-driven reporting using structured ERP data to support operational and management decision-making.
* Experience supporting or integrating ERP data with externally hosted analytics or AI-assisted services through secure APIs or data pipelines.
* Awareness of Pronto Software’s roadmap for embedded AI capabilities (e.g. AI-assisted insights and automation delivered through vendor-supported platforms such as IBM technologies).
* Ability to interpret AI-assisted outputs and communicate insights, limitations, and recommendations clearly to business stakeholders.
