**Assistant Service Coordinator**
**Location**:Blackburn, Victoria
**Department**: Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV)
**Employment Type**:Temporary 3 month contract
**Salary**: $42.33/hour + Super
**Start date**:ASAP

**About Fire Rescue Victoria**:
Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) is a modern fire and rescue service dedicated to protecting communities across Melbourne and Victoria's major regional centres, 24/7. Established on July 1, 2020, we employ over 3,500 operational career firefighters and 540 corporate and administrative staff. Operating from 85 fire stations, we proudly collaborate with Country Fire Authority (CFA) volunteer brigades to deliver exceptional emergency services and community support both locally and globally.

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated **Assistant Service Coordinator** to join the team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating communications between clients, contractors, and staff to ensure our services meet customer expectations. You will support the Service Supervisor, Account Executive(s), and Service Manager in key departmental functions, while driving innovation and efficiency within our service delivery processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate daily interactions, quotations, queries, and work orders between FES customers and technicians.
- Assist in managing customer accounts and meeting reporting requirements set by clients.
- Perform administrative tasks, including reporting, non-programmed visits, and updates to the customer portal.
- Maintain the FES database, ensuring accurate information entry into Firecode, while adhering to policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in the development and improvement of FES and Firecode processes.
- Strive to exceed both internal and external customer expectations and reporting timelines.
- Foster strong relationships with FES customers, staff, technicians, and contractors.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service role.
- Proficiency in MS Office products and intermediate computer skills.
- Knowledge of the fire industry and Essential Services Legislation is advantageous.
