What you need:
Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Imaging or equivalent and AHPRA registration
Minimum 3 years' sonography experience preferred and current enrolment in a CPD program
Post graduate qualifications in a specialised modality (Ultrasound)
A high level of knowledge of current Medical Imaging practices
