Collaborate within a dedicated team in a unique Defence environment as a part-time Chef at RAAF Amberley, Ipswich. This role is ideal for chefs who enjoy bulk cooking and take pride in quality, flavour, and presentation, supported by strong systems, training, and a positive team culture.
The Position:
• Full time positions
• Prepare high-quality buffet-style meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, and events
• Maintain catering standards while ensuring OH&S, HACCP, and waste reduction practices
• Support kitchen operations including stock control, deliveries, and cold room monitoring
• Deliver consistent quality and service in a fast-paced, structured environment
The Person:
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• Previous experience in commercial kitchens, restaurants, or function catering
• Sound knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and allergen management
• Passion for quality food with strong attention to detail and presentation
• Reliable, team-focused, and committed to delivering excellent outcomes
