Construction Superintendent - Underground Benefits - Major Ventilation & Cooling Project
12‐month minimum contract. 8/6 FIFO roster. Longer‐term opportunities.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage construction schedule and daily work sequencing
* Lead in‐office construction activities
* Oversee contractors and subcontractors, performance management
* Coordinate labour, equipment and materials to maintain construction schedule
* Lead HSE compliance across all camp construction activities
* Monitor construction progress, identify risks, implement strategies to maintain project delivery
* Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement and project teams
* Maintain strong stakeholder engagement, including client, operations and site‐based teams
Key Skills & Experience
* Relevant Trade or Tertiary qualification (Section 26) – essential
* Strong underground mining project experience – essential
* Technical understanding across civil, structural, mechanical services and electrical/utilities
* Experience supervising large, multi‐contractor workforces (200+ personnel)
* Understanding of budget control, progress tracking, variations and productivity monitoring
* Highly effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills
