Waterco – a global manufacturer and supplier of pool, spa, and water treatment products – is looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to join our Meadowbrook team in Brisbane, QLD. This role is ideal for people currently working as pool technicians, trade or tool sales reps, plumbing/irrigation or building materials sales, who want to step into a more relationship-driven, solution-based sales role.
About the role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing sales across our pool builder, wholesale, and retail channels. You’ll work closely with a supportive branch network and national sales team to provide expert advice and solutions to our valued customers. Your ability to understand technical products, nurture relationships, and identify new opportunities will be key to your success. If you enjoy being out on the road, visiting job sites and branches, and working with owner-operators and builders rather than sitting behind a desk all day, this will suit you.
What you’ll be doing
· Grow sales within the assigned territory and customer base
· Develop business with new prospects and re-engage dormant accounts
· Build long-term relationships with pool builders, retailers, and wholesalers
· Visit customers on site and in branch to understand their needs and recommend solutions
· Provide technical support and product knowledge to help customers succeed
· Follow up quotes, negotiate and close sales to achieve revenue and margin targets
· Collaborate with internal sales, warehouse, and operations teams to deliver excellent service
· Helping customers understand our diverse and full range of brand offerings: Davey, Waterco, Autopool

What we’re looking for
· Background in the pool & spa, trades, tools, building materials, or related industries
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills
· Technically inclined and comfortable discussing product specifications and solutions (training provided)
· A self-starter who enjoys both hunting for new business and nurturing existing accounts
· Able to leverage CRM systems, Zendesk and Phocas to plan and optimise customer visits, analyse data, optimise stocking
· Proven ability to meet targets and close sales
· Excellent customer service focus and strong listening skills
