Position Overview As a Contract Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of multi-million-dollar construction projects across various sectors. You will manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle-from pre-construction through project delivery-while collaborating closely with clients, project managers, consultants, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities Contract Management: Prepare, review, and administer head contracts and subcontracts. Ensure alignment with project scopes, contractual terms, and legal requirements. Procurement & Tendering: Coordinate procurement activities including tender preparation, subcontractor selection, and supplier engagement. Analyse quotations and negotiate agreements. Budget & Cost Control: Track project budgets, assess progress claims and variations, and assist in financial forecasting. Monitor project expenditure against budget in real time. Risk & Compliance: Identify and manage contractual and commercial risks. Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to Australian Standards and safety protocols. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of contracts, communications, and approvals. Produce contract status reports, cost reviews, and project updates for stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, consultants, internal teams, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and timely resolution of project issues. Quality Assurance: Work alongside site teams to ensure quality and documentation meet design intent and compliance requirements. Qualifications and Experience Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related field. Experience: 3 years of experience as a Contract Administrator in the construction sector, preferably within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment.
