We have an exciting opportunity for a **Casual Paralegal** to join our **CPI** team in **Newcastle**. With a front-end focus this team specialise in advising on and documenting complex construction and infrastructure projects, assisting in risk allocation, risk management and dispute avoidance. Working on projects for clients across the country, this role offers a position within a nationally integrated team of lawyers who bring a wealth of experience to our clients across a variety of industries.
We do not expect that you will have previous Construction exposure but to be successful in this role you will be / have:
- A keen, demonstrable interest in this area of law
- In their later stages of their law degree (5th year preferable)
- Be able to commit to a minimum of 2.5 days on an ongoing basis
- Previous Paralegal experience preferred but not essential
- An excellent communicator (both verbal and written)
- You will be confident, capable and have great interpersonal skills.
