Overview

HomeRepair is a wholly owned subsidiary of Suncorp Group Ltd (Suncorp), a major general insurer in Australia and New Zealand. Our primary business is to provide residential repair and Make Safe services in Australia for insurance claims made by Suncorp's home insurance customers.

About the role

Reporting to the State Team Leader you will be responsible for end-to-end repair management. You will serve as a liaison between our customers, Suncorp and our large network of trades.

Responsibilities

* Effectively manage assigned claim portfolio
* Manage inbound and outbound calls
* Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, such as Assessors, trades, customers and insurers
* Confirm scope of works with the customer, and scheduling repairs with priority
* Proactively communicate clear and concise information on repairs to all stakeholders
* Support the management of customer complaints in line with company processes and timeframes

Skills & experience

* Previous experience within insurance claims is highly desirable
* Experience working in a customer service or property management/repair environment
* Knowledge of the property repair industry and current repair practices is an advantage
* Exceptional customer service experience and active listening skills
* Ability to build and maintain effective and trusted relationships with trades and customers
* Advanced communication skills with a strong ability to convey and accurately interpret technical information

Please note you will need to be fully available to start on site training in Melbourne on the 23rd of February for two weeks. We will cover any travel costs.

This role will be subject to a successful National Police Check.
