Experienced Bike Riders Memory Walk & Jog -Geelong Eastern Beach Reserve
A family-friendly, fun-filled morning supporting Dementia Australia to raise much-needed funds. We will provide a briefing in the morning of the event so you can learn all about the morning ahead and the tasks assigned to you and meet your fellow volunteers and the Memory Walk & Jog event team members for the day. Previous volunteers have described their experience as extremely enjoyable, and their spirits were lifted by being in the company of like-minded people. I guess that is why we have many volunteers nationwide returning each year Supporting Dementia Australia and the Memory Walk will help raise awareness and funding for research and development in dementia. Volunteer Requirements
* To be over 18 years of age
* Bring your own bike and helmet (BYO)
* Strong, polite, yet assertive outdoor vocal presence
* Able to comfortably ride 20-30km supporting participants for all capacities around the track between 6:45 am and 12 noon

Training
Information will be emailed to volunteers in the week before the event. We will provide a briefing in the morning of the event so you can learn all about the morning ahead, the tasks assigned to you and meet your fellow volunteers and the Memory Walk & Jog event team members for the day.
