Bayview Adventure Camp is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their accounts team on a permanent part-time basis (15 hours per week). Working from the camp office on our gorgeous 75-acre property in Grantville, you will play an important role in maintaining the financial health of our business operations.
The position will support two independent companies under common ownership - Bayview Adventure Camp and Infuse Travel. This is a unique opportunity to work within fun, purpose-driven organisations specialising in school camps, outdoor education and student travel.

Applicant Pre-Requisites
* Advanced skills and knowledge of Xero
* 1-2 years minimum experience in a bookkeeping or junior accounting role for a small-medium size business.
* Solid understanding of GST, payroll, general ledger functions and ATO compliance
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities
* Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the full cycle of AP/AR, including processing supplier invoices, reconciling statements, and following up on outstanding client payments.
* Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and currencies within Xero to ensure a real-time view of cash flow.
* Payroll Processing: Coordinate payroll for fortnightly cycles, including tracking leave balances, superannuation contributions and PAYG compliance.
* Expense Management: Oversee staff expense claims and credit card reconciliations, ensuring all receipts meet company policy and tax requirements.
* Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly IAS/BAS filings and provide preliminary reports for review.
* Liaison: Act as a point of contact for internal teams regarding budget queries and external suppliers regarding payment status.
Time Allotment
Permanent part-time, 15 hours per week. Additional hours may be available in peak times and as business grows
Remuneration
* AU$35 - $40 per hour
* 12% superannuation
* Annual leave (four weeks pro-rata)
* Time in lieu and flexible working arrangements
Location
Grantville (VIC) for minimum 10 hours per week.
Flexibility to work-from-home for remaining 5+ hours per week.
