Description
Due to ongoing expansion, SM Transport & Maintenance are seeking MC Drivers (unrestricted Road Ranger Non-Synchromesh) for Interstate Heavy Equipment/Machinery Haulage.
Please only apply if have an unrestricted MC Licence (Road Ranger Non-Synchromesh)
Qualifications & experience
- MC (Multi-Combination Road Ranger Non-Synchromesh) Licence
- Oversize Over Mass experience highly regarded with good knowledge of how to access relevant information.
- Minimum 2 Years experience
Key Responsibilities
- Transport of Heavy Equipment/Machinery Australia wide (We move a large quantity of Oversize Agricultural Equipment Nationally)
- Loading of mobile equipment with good understanding of Load Restraint
- Representing SM Transport & Maintenance in a professional manner
- Ensuring the safe delivery of Heavy Equipment/Machinery with no damage
- Complete safety vehicle checks

- You must be well presented and be prepared to look after the equipment

From small beginnings, we started out operating with one truck mainly carting hay, wood and farm machinery in Victoria. Our business has grown, and we now operate Australia wide.
With a wide variety of trailers tailored to our customer’s needs. We are an independent, family run business, originally based out of Barham, NSW we now also operate out of our current Melbourne depot based in Laverton.
With the growth of our business, we found the need to employ our own qualified diesel mechanics, this has given us the ability to also service the local area for any maintenance needs for heavy vehicles.
