Lake Imaging, founded in 2002, has become the largest radiology provider in central and western Victoria with more than 19 clinics providing a wide range of diagnostic imaging services to the St John of God private hospitals, community-based clinics and speciality centres in Melbourne, Ballarat, Geelong, and Warrnambool.
We are currently seeking a full time Patient Services Coordinator based at Geelong Breast Clinic. Reporting to the Clerical Supervisor, this newly established position will ensure the effective and efficient service to our valued patients.
In addition to working in medical reception, your responsibilities will include (in addition to current reception responsibilities):
Staff Training: Provide ongoing training support to ensure all staff are up-to-date with clinic protocols and procedures. Patient Triage: Efficiently triage patients to prioritise care and streamline clinic operations. Clinic Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert for all clinic-related matters. Patient Assistance: Assist nurses and MIT staff by escorting patients to cubicles and helping them be prepared for procedures. Operational Excellence: Ensure the clinic runs smoothly by going above and beyond for patients, staff, and visitors. Collaboration: Work closely with all staff and build strong relationships between clinical, nursing, MIT, and administrative teams.
About You
Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally. Compassionate, proactive, and dedicated to enhancing patient and staff experiences. Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Effective time management skills. Represent and uphold the IDX and the Lake Imaging Values through your conduct and behaviour.
