This full-time position involves providing expert HSE support, advice, and leadership to management and site teams across various projects and divisions. It requires ensuring legislative compliance, mentoring HSE personnel, and promoting a positive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert HSE support, advice, and leadership to management and site teams.
2. Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and oversee corrective actions.
3. Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and Safe Act Observations.
4. Manage and improve HSE systems, documentation, and compliance processes.
5. Liaise with subcontractors, employees, and clients to ensure alignment with safety expectations.
6. Deliver toolbox talks, safety alerts, training sessions, and facilitate safety committee meetings.
7. Report on HSE performance, KPIs, and support internal auditing of ISO systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Diploma or Degree in Work Health & Safety (mandatory).
* Minimum 3 years' experience in an HSE role within the construction, civil, or mining sectors.
* Demonstrated understanding of WHS legislation, risk management, and auditing practices.
* Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
* Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
