About the role: We are currently seeking Multiskilled Domestic Workers for our Juniper Hillcrest site in Geraldton, WA. This hands on, people focused role rotates between cleaning, laundry, and catering duties to help create a safe, comfortable, and homely environment for our residents. Working closely with our care and hospitality teams, you will ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, assist with meal preparation and service, and contribute to residents’ overall comfort, dignity, and wellbeing. Juniper Hillcrest Residential Aged Care Home strikes a perfect balance between the outdoors and cozy indoor spaces, with spacious verandas, inviting dining areas, and engaging activity spaces. Available Shifts We are currently offering a range of flexible opportunities, including casual roles and a permanent fortnightly roster outlined below: Permanent Roster: Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday – 3.5-hour shifts (16:00 – 19:30) Week 2: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday – 3.5-hour shifts (16:00 – 19:30) These evening shifts offer great flexibility and are ideal for those seeking part-time hours in a supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities: Cleaning: Keep residents’ rooms and common areas spotless, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces. Laundry: Wash, dry, iron, and return personal and facility laundry while following infection control procedures. Catering: Assist in preparing and serving meals, setting tables, and ensuring meals meet residents’ dietary needs. Teamwork: Work collaboratively with care and hospitality staff to ensure residents feel respected, valued, and at home. Safety: Follow workplace health, safety, and infection control guidelines at all times. Key Requirements: Experience in cleaning, catering, & laundry services (aged care or healthcare preferred) Knowledge of hygiene standards, food safety, and infection control (desirable) Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain (preferred) Passionate about helping older people live with dignity and comfort Physically fit to meet the demands of the role Flexible to work across cleaning, laundry, and catering duties A great communicator who can build rapport with residents and colleagues What's on offer: Attractive remuneration $31.33 per hour, plus 12% superannuation plus salary packaging up to $18,550 per annum tax free Enjoy additional penalty rates for casual and weekend shifts.
