Accommodation services assistant

What we are looking for:

This position will assist with general village administration and reservation processes. This includes monitoring and actioning all reservation communication, administration of MEX maintenance system and providing support to the Homeground Villages team. The candidate will report to the General Manager Homeground, and take direction from the Homeground Accommodation Services Lead.

This role is based on site at our Homeground Village in Gladstone, Queensland.

Responsibilities and Requirements Include

The Administration Assistant will assist with reservation processes, including the monitoring of all reservation communications. They will be required to assist with managing customer reservation queries and support with troubleshooting. They will work with the accommodation management system provider to ensure the system is operating effectively and seek ways to maximise accommodation utilisation.

* Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service and/or account management.
* Exposure to the reservations and/or operations functions of a workforce accommodation facility or hotel/motel.
* Exposure to accommodation management systems
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient time management skills.
* Be process driven and willing to learn and develop.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Maintain a high level of awareness in relation to the sensitivities around information gathering.
