About the role
Permanent | Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Don't want to be stuck behind a desk? Have a passion for trucks and machinery? We are looking for a reliable, customer friendly and fast learning individual to join our Onsite Industrial Team. Some work is based in Brisbane and its surrounding areas, with travel generally occurring in these primary locations: Bowen Basin, Mackay, Townsville, Rockhampton, and Moranbah. However, assignments can take place anywhere in Queensland. Full-time, Mon–Fri (8:00am–5:00pm) with overtime available, we need a reliable, customer-focused quick learner.
Responsibilities
* Manage stock and deliveries – Accurately process, value, photograph, and upload items to our system
* Deliver outstanding customer service to vendors and buyers
* Verify catalogues to ensure assets are correctly listed
* Travel to customer sites across Queensland as needed
* Build strong vendor relationships through regular communication on valuations, reserves, releases, referrals, and marketing
* Coordinate with site managers and stakeholders for smooth operations
* Handle loading and unloading of goods before and after auctions
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
* Passion for general goods, trucks & machinery, and/or experience in a similar role/industry will be highly regarded
* Experience in sales or valuations (preferred)
* Current/valid drivers' license with ability to drive manual & forklift license (essential)
* Ability and willingness to travel to our customers sites throughout QLD to undertake your role
* Competent verbal & written communication skills with high attention to detail
* Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships
* High level of interpersonal skills and proven experience building and maintain client relationships
* Ability to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines
