Overview
Business Review Group is supporting a Defence client to engage two experienced Senior Project Officers to support project and program delivery within a highly secure operational environment.
These positions sit within broader ICT and capability delivery landscape and will support project governance, coordination, reporting, stakeholder engagement and project planning activities across complex programs of work.
This is a strong opportunity for candidates with Defence or Federal Government project support experience looking to step into a secure, fast-paced and operationally critical environment.
Key Details
* Location: ACT (On-site)
* Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain Positive Vetting (PV)
* Engagement: 12-month contract + 2 x 12-month extensions
* Level: APS6 Equivalent
* Start Date: Est 30 June 2026
* Rate: $850/day
What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting project and program delivery activities across ICT and capability-focused environments
* Coordinating project governance, reporting, scheduling and administrative activities
* Developing and maintaining project plans, documentation and delivery processes
* Preparing briefs, reports, committee papers and finance-related documentation
* Engaging with stakeholders to support project outcomes and delivery requirements
* Assisting with risk, quality and project assurance activities
* Supporting project tracking across scope, schedule, resources and delivery milestones
* Applying project methodologies and delivery frameworks including PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent
What They're Looking For
* Experience supporting Defence or Federal Government projects/programs
* Strong coordination, reporting and stakeholder engagement capability
* Experience with project governance, planning and delivery processes
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a secure operational environment
* Understanding of project methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile or similar
* Strong written communication skills, including briefing and reporting experience
