The Laboratory Technician Role
This role supports teachers in delivering the Science curriculum, particularly by preparing laboratories and experiments. The technician assists with planning and organizing teaching spaces, tests experiments, and maintains records for hazardous substances.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure safe operation of Science laboratories and facilities
* Provide technical advice and assistance as required
* Support the planning and organization of teaching spaces and activities
* Maintain accurate records for storing and disposing of hazardous substances
* Undertake minor repairs and maintenance of equipment
