Salesforce Support Engineer | 12 + 12 Month Contract | Australian Citizenship Required
Are you an experienced Salesforce Support Engineer with a passion for problem-solving and platform optimisation? We’re partnering with a federal government agency to find a skilled professional for a long-term engagement (initial 12-month contract with a 12-month extension).
Please note: Australian Citizenship is mandatory for this position.
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll join a dynamic, collaborative Agile team supporting and evolving the organisation’s Salesforce ecosystem. Your focus will be on maintaining and enhancing Service Cloud, Health Cloud, and Digital Experience applications, while working closely with stakeholders across business, architecture, and data domains.
Key Responsibilities:
* Configure and support Salesforce applications including Service Cloud, Health Cloud, and Digital Experience.
* Build end-to-end automated processes using declarative Salesforce tools.
* Troubleshoot and support Salesforce Industries components, including OmniStudio (FlexCards, OmniScripts, Data Raptors, etc.).
* Perform administration tasks: user maintenance, application monitoring, configuration management, and data integrity.
* Deploy changes via established DevOps practices and tools.
* Investigate issues through log interrogation and system monitoring.
* Evaluate Salesforce releases and assess their impact on existing configurations and business users.
* Contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation, and internal training.
* Support integration troubleshooting (e.g., MuleSoft).
* Build meaningful event monitoring and alerting capabilities.
* Collaborate within a high-performing Agile delivery team.
What we’re looking for:
* 5+ years' experience in the Salesforce ecosystem.
* Hands-on experience with Salesforce Industries (OmniStudio).
* Exposure to Apex and object-oriented programming for debugging and enhancements.
* Experience with version control, branching strategies, and metadata deployments.
* Salesforce certifications: Admin (ADM201 or ADM211) & Platform App Builder.
Highly Regarded:
* Experience supporting Experience Cloud applications.
* Additional certifications: Platform Developer I or Vlocity.
* Passion for accessible and inclusive design in technical solutions.
