Event Operations Manager
The Role:
* Oversee daily operations to ensure customer service standards are met.
* Lead and direct event teams to deliver exceptional results.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to plan events.
* Liaise with clients to discuss event details.
* Ensure compliance with RSA policies at all catered functions.
* Deliver pre-event briefings to team members.
* Manage employee relations effectively.
* Ensure team members work safely and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
About You:
* Have previous leadership experience in a large banquet or food and beverage environment.
* Have experience coordinating exhibition/tradeshow-style catering.
* Be able to manage, motivate, lead, and provide direction to a large team of 100+.
* Hold a current RMLV Certificate and Approved Manager Licence (or be able to obtain them quickly), along with experience managing RSA compliance in a large venue.
* Demonstrate experience in developing and maintaining high customer service standards.
* Display excellent organisational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
* Be able to multitask while maintaining a calm and efficient demeanour.
* Have impeccable personal presentation and the ability to instil the same standards in your team.
