Transportation Operations Manager
As a Transportation Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of bulk materials across mine sites and remote routes using triple and quad road trains. This role requires a high level of expertise in operating complex vehicles and ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct daily pre-start checks to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition.
* Safely operate road trains, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
* Loading and unloading materials using a front-end loader.
* Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, and delivery times.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Qualifications:
* Current & Valid Commercial Driver's License with appropriate endorsements.
* Commercial Drivers Fatigue Management Certificate (validity within 2 years).
* National Police Clearance.
Experience:
* Proven experience as a Road Train Operator – carting triple side tippers and self-loading with a front-end loader.
* Experience operating in an on-road and off-road environment.
