Job Description
Our client is a highly successful asbestos company who provide a wide array of high-quality services to clients nationwide. Due to their continued success, they are now currently looking to recruit a hard‐working, competent Asbestos Lab Analyst / Supervisor based in and around the Croydon area. The ideal candidate will hold the P401 certificate and will have considerable experience in carrying out bulk analysis on asbestos samples. Consideration will be given to applications from Sutton, Wimbledon, Epsom, and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications & Experience
* Must have the P401 or equivalent RSPH qualification.
* Strong technical, quality, audit, laboratory and management background.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
* Previous supervisory role in an asbestos laboratory environment.
* Good attention to detail.
* Also interested in candidates with P401/P402/P403/P404 or S301 CCP.
Key Role
* Control and manage internal quality control slide checks.
* Carry out audit checks.
* Ensure slides are dealt with appropriately.
* Check analytical reports for accuracy and content.
* Ensure quality systems are carried out per company procedures and policies.
* Liaise with UKAS.
* Build strong professional relationships with the company's large portfolio of clients.
* Oversee staff to ensure work is carried out effectively and timely.
